German-born producer Felix Wiele, performing as WibeZz, is back with “DRIP,” a new collaboration featuring Canadian vocalist May-Ah. The track arrives as the pair’s third release together, expanding on a connection that began far from the usual studio setting: at an Australian outdoor doof three years ago.
Their first collaboration, “Illusions,” came together shortly after that meeting, setting the tone for a creative partnership built on contrast. WibeZz’s productions lean into dubstep, experimental bass and freeform 140 territory, while May-Ah brings soft, soulful vocal energy that gives the music an emotive center.
On “DRIP,” WibeZz channels his love of deep bass pressure, unconventional sound design and tribal rhythmic influences. The result is a moody, immersive track that moves between delicate vocal moments and heavyweight bass textures. Rather than following a predictable formula, the release reflects the producer’s evolving approach—one shaped through releases on multiple labels and a clear connection to the U.S. bass underground.
