Only Bee’s self-titled debut makes its case by treating the dancefloor and the song as equal partners. On ‘Body Rock’, the bassline rolls with a live, unhurried feel, and the vocal sits just above it, never crowding the mix. That balance is the record’s signature. The production keeps things uncluttered, letting each element breathe.
Behind the project is Italian singer and songwriter Beatrice De Cristofaro, who moved to Naples in 2024 seeking a more authentic artistic space. The album grew out of collaborations with Whodamanny, Thanksmate, Giuseppe Fava, Obbi and 1MorePizzaPls, alongside musicians Roberto Porzio, Daniel Monaco, Michele Morsilli and Daniele Labbate. The Naples setting informs the record’s atmosphere, but the songs stand on their own. It’s for DJs who want to build a set with emotional range, and for listeners who treat house music as a songwriting form.
