Rise Festival, the world’s largest independent ski festival, has unveiled its dazzling 10th-anniversary aftermovie from December 2024. Capturing breathtaking Alpine scenery, euphoric crowds, and unforgettable performances, the film is a vibrant snapshot of the festival’s unique spirit. You can watch it now on YouTube and Instagram.
Hosted in the stunning French Alps resort of Les 2 Alpes from 7–14 December, the milestone edition drew 7,000 snow-loving ravers from 60 countries. The aftermovie highlights unforgettable moments, including JOY (Anonymous) lighting up the Muzelle stage, pulsating sets by Badger and Oppidan 2,600m above sea level, and electrifying headline performances from Chase & Status, Gorgon City, and Sammy Virji. A mix of daring snow stunts from Dope Snow, camaraderie among festivalgoers, and sweeping drone footage only adds to the magic.
Festival Director Jamie Thomson reflected on the success, saying:
“This was easily our best year ever, and I don’t use that lightly. There was a magical feeling around the festival, between all the incredible performances and secret sets, the vibe was unmatched. We could really feel the energy as a team. It’s going to be a tough year to beat, but the challenge has been accepted and we are READY! We’ve already got a few things in the pipeline… watch this space – the next 10 years are going to be epic.”
