Idoipe embarks on an expedition into the untamed mountains of northern Aragón, guided by the ethereal sounds of “Tañen Furo.”

Tañen Furo LP

Originating from Zaragoza, this artist has just unveiled a remarkable creation through Discos el Tragaluz. It’s not only his second full-length album but also the accompanying soundtrack for a documentary that shares his name, “Tañen Furo.” This documentary is a profound exploration of the artist’s life and his immersive experiences in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, where the captivating sounds of the region harmoniously fuse with the realm of electronic music.

After previously releasing several singles that ventured into the rich tapestry of Aragón’s folklore, Idoipe introduced his debut album, ‘Cierzo lento,’ in 2021. With this release, he seamlessly merged his identity as a musician with his electronic influences, all while celebrating his profound love for his homeland.

This remarkable work caught the discerning ears of an independent record label based in Madrid, which subsequently offered him the stage on a variety of platforms throughout Spain.

In the present moment, Idoipe delves deeper into the heart of the northern Aragon mountains, on a quest to unearth inspiration and harness the raw power of nature to infuse every sound with profound musical significance. From the gentle whispers of the wind and the soothing murmur of water to the melodic tinkle of cattle bells and the thunderous roar of waterfalls, he aspires to blend these diverse elements with his electronic foundation to craft entirely new compositions.
