Tenerife-based DJ and producer Jairo Delli sharpens his dancefloor language on “Ritmo”, a tightly constructed house cut released through LTF Records.
Instead of chasing an oversized breakdown or an obvious hook, Delli lets rhythm carry the record. A weighty bassline, crisp percussion and subtly evolving loops establish a groove that feels immediate without becoming predictable. Small changes in texture and arrangement keep the energy moving while leaving enough space for every element to breathe.
That restraint is one of the track’s greatest strengths. “Ritmo” sounds like the work of a producer who understands that an effective club record does not need to be overcrowded. Its impact comes from timing, balance and the continuous conversation between the low end and the drums.
With more than seventeen years behind the decks and in the studio, Delli has released music through labels including elrow, CUFF, Roush, Sola and Too Many Rules. His productions have also received support from Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Dennis Ferrer and Franky Rizardo.
“Ritmo” captures his current artistic direction clearly: stripped-back, confident and built around the physical pull of the groove.
