Raze.D unveils his most personal work yet with Angry Silhouette

Raze.D, aka D.Ramirez, takes a bold creative leap with his artist album Angry Silhouette, out now on Dreamwave. For the first time, he places his own voice and songwriting at the centre of his music. Buy/Stream it here: https://dreamwave.lnk.to/AngrySilhouette.

A defining force in club music for 30 years, the Ivor Novello-nominated producer has shaped electronic music with era-defining tracks and remixes. As Raze.D, he explores his most personal project yet, inspired by the 80s Sheffield scene and bands like Human League, ABC, and Cabaret Voltaire. The album, born during the pandemic, reconnects him with his early days as a singer while drawing influence from Depeche Mode, Ultravox, and modern alt-rock.

Lyrically, Angry Silhouette delves into technology’s grip on society, the influence of tech giants, and personal introspection. As Raze.D explains, “It’s about reflection and confronting the world we live in. It’s my way of offering a new sound that feels authentic to both where I have come from and where I am now. This music is 100% me. The singing, songwriting, production and mixing – every beat and note is mine. Just my vision, my truth. It’s raw, it’s all personal, it’s all me.”

From the dark grooves of Overload to the cold-wave synths of the title track, each song fuses lyrical depth with world-class production. Push The Fader channels industrial intensity, while Do You Feel The Same brings the album to a dramatic, cinematic close.

A striking evolution, Angry Silhouette confirms Raze.D as an artist unafraid to reinvent himself while staying true to his roots.
