‘Light Beams’ is the first single from Sainte Vie’s upcoming album ‘Pablo’, which is named after and dedicated to the memory of his Father who passed away in 2023.
Mexico-born, Miami based Sainte Vie blends electronic and world music influences to create an eclectic, emotional style. Starting in the rock scene as a teenager, he later discovered electronic music while studying in France, leading him to pursue sound design in New York City.
Now as a DJ and producer, he has performed at Burning Man, Space Miami, Coachella, Warung in Brazil, Fabric in London, Loveland Festival, Koncept Presents in Los Angeles, and Knockdown Center in NYC amongst many more. He also released his acclaimed ‘Labyrinth’ EP on Rufus Du Sol’s Rose Avenue Records adding to an amazing catalogue of releases including becoming the first Mexican artist to release on Cercle’s label back in 2021 and honing an impressive catalogue of Beatport chart topping anthems on Kompakt, Stil vor Talent and more.
With millions of streams and chart-topping tracks, his live sets and DJ appearances showcase his high-energy stage presence and he has collaborated with artists such as Acid Pauli, Sam Shure and WhoMadeWho. His upcoming album ‘Pablo’ talks about the process of grief, eternal love, memories and the many ways in which one connects with a loved one after their death, all with an abstract approach.
First single from the album ‘Light Beams’ is an emotive offering where the light of the lead synths contrasts with the powerful bass. Sainte Vie’s own vocoded voice delivers an euphoric chorus elevating life above the darkness of loss and pain as the deep drums roll on.
This is a most emotive single and a fine taster of the full length album to come from Sainte Vie.
